“I took two tabs of acid yesterday afternoon
And I woke up this morning with a torn pair of shoes
And found I’d ruined my life and everyone else’s too
I guess this is what my teachers warned me drugs would do
But they forgot to mention the way
That the morphine makes the pain go away
And how I’ll always remember the good times in my spine
And the holes I burned in my brain with this next line”—Johnny Hobo (via rainieleighla)
My friend also has really bad heart problems, but alas no insurance. It’s all so fucked up. She has fucking seizures sometimes because of how bad it gets. But yet no doctor has any sort of kindness to fucking help.I could go on for days /ranting/
Ahh, that’s terrible. :/ I’m fortunate to have never had a seizure from mine. But I just can’t stand how people who really need insurance just don’t get the help that they need because of a lack of funds. Human beings should look after each other, because of the goodness of their hearts, not because of some pieces of paper that we decided held value years ago.
I recently broke three ribs at The Casualties show not too long ago, when I went to ER they had told me access kicked us off. Real convenient for them right? Health care here sucks.
That’s fucked up. The health care system in America is such shit. Everyone bitches about how universal health care is sooo bad, but what about the people who REALLY need it? I have a heart condition that causes so many issues, but if I go to a doctor, they just say, “tough shit, you don’t have insurance” and send me on my way. I’ve got friends with life threatening illnesses that get pushed away because they don’t have insurance. The system here is just so fucked.
I need health benefits so bad. ._. Or just some insurance, at least. My heart conditions still haven’t cleared up, and although I’ll have good days, some days are pretty bad. Today is one of those days. Heart pains, palpitations, irregular heart beat. Just. Pain all over. I wish we had universal health care, I need to see a cardiologist so bad.
